Melissa’s advice: Conviction turns you back to God. Condemnation keeps you in shame after you've repented.
Conviction is the Holy Spirit showing you where you missed it so you can turn back to God; condemnation is the enemy keeping you stuck in shame after you’ve already repented. I’ve watched people confuse the two and stay bound for years, but Romans 8:1 says there is no condemnation for those in Christ.
